PG-13 Stories

From This Day Forward...

Summary: The title should give it away!

Message Received

Summary: Chakotay finds a message on his computer.

'Twas the Night before 'Coda'

Summary: Episode addition for 'Coda'. For all the laughter about 'The Dying Swan,' was there an act on during Talent Night that was just too hard for Janeway and Chakotay to discuss?

Little Kathryn

Summary: Gretchen Janeway deals with the loss of her eldest daughter, and Kathryn contemplates the future.

Night Thoughts

Summary: A little bit of almost-angst. Janeway's thoughts in the dark of 'Night.'

Denver Dreaming

Summary: A short story - a long term contemplation by Chakotay. Inspired by three John Denver songs.

La Clemenza di Caterina

Summary: Alternate Universe story - based on a Mozart opera. Chakotay orders Harry to assainate Janeway.

...Unforgettable, too

Summary: yet to be written

Message Understood (prequel to "Message Received")

Summary: A 'prequel' to "Message Received". I would recommend that you read that story first. The jumping-off point for this one was the Carpenters' song 'A Song for You'.

'Returning' Saga

Never to Return
Summary: Part one of the 'Returning' saga, which is going to be very long and take me some time to write. In 'Never to Return', Voyager is running low on supplies. The planet which supplies their needs presents an unwanted problem to Kathryn.

Transfig-Q-ration
Summary: Caitlyn and Harry have some talking to do, but a 'ghost' wormhole keeps them apart. Kathryn makes a new friend, Q drops in for a visit, and the discussion gets theological.

Trial Separation
Summary: Voyager has arrived home - but the welcome isn't exactly as the crew might have wished. The trial of Chakotay and Torres presents a challenge to their legal team - Janeway and Caitlyn McBride - and the crew of Voyager slowly rejoin their families, though not without tension.

Entanglement
Summary: Chakotay finds it difficult to fit back in to Earth society - but has a few people around to help him, and to encourage him not to give up on repairing his relationship with Kathryn.

Too Darn Hot

Summary: Response to the JetC20 'Heat' Challenge - takes place prior to "Unforgettable", during Kellin's first stay on Voyager. Heat (and champagne) can affect different races somewhat strangely.

Acacia

Summary: More imagery than plot - Kathryn takes some time to think.

Commander Chakotay's Thanksgiving

Summary: Response to the JetC20 'Children's Story' challenge, and based on Barbara Williams' book "Chester Chipmunk's Thanksgiving." Poor Chakotay is having an awful time trying to find someone to share his Thanksgiving dinner.

(The) Gift of the Mahj

Summary: A Christmas story, based on O. Henry's "The Gift of the Magi". Set during "Basics", Kathryn is determined to keep a promise she made a few weeks earlier.

One Kiss Too Many?

Summary: A short addition to Sue Stilwell's story 'Bats, Ghosts and Halloween Kisses'. Just what happened at that party after Kathryn and Chakotay left?

Summer Rose

Summary: Kathryn looks back on a relationship gone sour.

Betweentimes

Summary: A 'Timeless' vignette - Kathryn's thoughts during the dinner scene.

Press Cuttings

Summary: 'They get home' - with a twist. J/C through the eyes of the media.

Inspirations

Summary: A tribute to three great 'Katherines'; Kate Mulgrew, Kathryn Janeway, and Kathleen McGrath (first woman to command a naval ship into a battle zone). Kathryn Janeway looks into some 21st Century US Naval History.

Terminal

Summary: In airports and shuttle terminals it's easy to pay a great deal of attention to your fellow passengers. Inspired by Kate Mulgrew, and her comment that 'Kathryn loves Chakotay too much to get involved with him'.

'Too Close to Home' Series

Summary: Yet another 'after they get home' story. Kathryn deals with her own confused emotions, some meddling crewmembers, the past, and the future.
